This Secondhand Clothing Store Is Taking Over

Plato’s Closet specializes in gently used clothing for teens and twenty-somethings. Unlike your average thrift shop, Plato’s is dedicated to name brands that women under twenty-somethings love, such as Forever 21 and H&M.

Although you might not find vintage items from your grandma’s closet, you will find items marked down significantly from their original store price. Expect these items to be in excellent condition. It certainly pays off to be resourceful.

My recent purchases include this skull sweater (pictured above) for eight dollars, a pair of Gap skinny jeans for twelve, and a long-sleeve black crop top for eight. These prices reflect similar items in the store.

We absolutely love these combat boots! The top pair is #Forever21 size 7 $14, and the bottom pair is #Mossimo size 8 $16! Too cute! #PlatosCloset

Although I haven’t taken up the offer yet, Plato’s Closet buys clothes (in good condition) from everyday shoppers. To find the closest location by state or zip code and learn how to sell your clothes to a local store, check out their website. There are stores all over the United States. Plus, Plato’s Closet will be participating in Black Friday sales, so this weekend could be an opportune time to visit.
