Ever wanted to see what a $1.3 billion wedding would look like?

Ever wonder what kind of a wedding you could have if you had a budget of a billion dollars? When a noted Russian oil billionaire decided to host a wedding for his son, he, apparently, spared no expense including an epic performance by Jennifer Lopez.

Mikhail Gutseriev, who is worth about $8.5 billion altogether, put on the wedding of the century  at the end of this past March for his 28 year old son and his 20 year old bride who is studying dentistry at Moscow University. The were over 600 invited guests and thousands of flowers overwhelmed the senses everywhere in the Moscow reception hall.

In addition to Lopez, the festivities included a gigantic fireworks display as well as a nine tier pink and white wedding cake. All of the guests received a solid gold box engraved with the names of the bride and groom.

The bride’s gown was custom made for her by Elie Saab of Paris. Apparently, a standard wedding gown designed by Saab goes for about $34,000 so you can only guess what the new billionaire’s daughter in law’s gown went for. The bead work and the train were were so prolific that the dress ended up weighing in at 25 pounds. It was so heavy that the bride needed help walking in it. There was a floor length veil and a jewel encrusted handbag to finish off the breathtaking ensemble. Oh, and lets also not forget her diamond necklace, diamond encrusted watch, diamond earrings, and the diamond tiara that topped it all of.

Other entertainment was provided by Sting and Enrique Iglesias. Everyone arrived at the reception in Rolls Royce’s and crystal chandeliers and marble floors were everywhere at the reception venue.
