If you love fashion there’s just something incredibly exciting about a Target collaboration. Target is already a fantastic resource for cheap-chic fashion, and that becomes even more true when they launch a limited edition collection with a fabulous designer.
This spring it’s all about the Lilly Pulitzer. Nothing says warm weather quite like Lilly—it’s a brand known for vibrant colors along with lots of pastels, bold floral prints and a Palm Beach inspiration.
Typically Lilly Pulitzer items can carry a pretty hefty price tag, but not with the Target collection.
This collection is going to feature lots of the styles and looks we already love for Lilly. One of my personal favorites judging from the Look Book available on the Target website is the Belladonna Bikini. This classically designed bikini is fresh and flirty in shades of pink and white and the hipster bottom is great because it’s on-point with this season’s swimwear trends and it’s also got a little extra coverage.
15 of the prints in this collection are exclusive to Target, which is always exciting, and the items range in price from $2 up to $250, but most of the women’s fashion items are hovering somewhere around the $30 mark. If you know anything about Lilly outside of the Target line, you know what a fantastic deal that is.
Other items to covet include the Palazzo Pant in Giraffey, which is a whimsical giraffe-inspired orange print with some shades of pink thrown in the mix too. They’re a breezy, wide leg pant that would pair perfectly with a simple white tank or the crocheted white crop top which is part of the collection.
The strapless maxi dress in the Nosie Posie print is fantastic and it’s retailing for about $34. The dress has a nice flowy silhouette and a strapless top with a gathered waist. It’s really a beautiful find that looks so much like the significantly more expensive Lilly dresses you’ll find in their boutiques.
This line isn’t just about the clothes—you’re also going to find jewelry, accessories and shoes. The wedge espadrille in gold is a fantastic find because it can certainly become a shoe staple in your wardrobe. It’s basic enough to go with anything, yet fabulous enough to stand out. If you’re instead looking for a flat shoe, the gold starfish sandals would make a great day-to-day shoe or something perfect for beachwear, plus they have a hint of glamour since they are gold.
It’s also worth noting the line will have plus sized items as well, although they’ll only be available online. All Target stores are set to unveil the Lilly collection, which is rare because oftentimes the big name designer collaborations are only available in certain stores, with a list of availability listed on the Target website.
