Here’s what to know about Mara Hoffman:
Mara Hoffman, born in Buffalo, NY, is a New York City based fashion designer. She graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City and studied at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design in London before launching her first ready to wear collection in 2000.
In 2008, Hoffman launched her first swim collection, which included playful bikinis, sexy one-pieces and dashiki cover-ups, all in Hoffman’s signature prints and colors. 2008 also market Hoffman’s first Bryan Park runway show for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
Hoffmany and her close-knit team continue to evolve creatively out of their design studio in Manhattan’s flower district. Hoffman and her team create two ready-to-wear collections and two swimwear collections per year, drawing inspiration from Hoffman’s personal affinity towards world travel, nature, mythology and magic.

Bandeau Cutout Halter One Piece: This suit combines several silhouette trends including the cutout and the bandeau, all wrapped up in a functional one-piece suit. It comes in a mountain blue print with shades of pink and orange thrown into the mix as well and it has a halter tie.
Reversible Lace-Up Maillot: This suit provides lots of coverage without feeling like it’s not as sexy as a typical two-piece. This suit comes in a fantastic rainbow bird lilac print and it has criss-cross adjustable straps at the shoulders. Cropped Rash Guard Top: The rash guard-style top is one of the biggest trends in swimwear right now, and as with everything, Mara Hoffman does it well. We love this long-sleeved crop top bathing suit option with a bold “supernova” print, and since it does have more coverage than a traditional bikini top it works really well to pair it with the high-waisted cut-out bikini bottom in the same print, which adds a lot of sexiness.
